Wow, and i thought my some of the members of my extended family have problems... but yeah... thats just nuts on so many levels... i can only say i'm hoping all the best to your uncle... he seems like a cool guy...

Thats just a shame. Hope his remaining time is peaceful,the kids and dogs are alright and she does some hard time!
Now THAT is a sick minded lady! And I don't suppose the police noticed the hammer holes in the wall? Isn't that attempted murder, or at the very least child endangerment? And she probably didn't tell the police about being pushed by your uncle, because then.......they would SEE THE BLOOD somewhere from his finger being bitten! = that would be something for her to explain too? Take the key, lock her up, loose the key,......not a problem for most of us to do to her, for sure. Your uncle, grandfather,mother, and you are in my prayers.
Good luck to you, your uncle and the rest of your family. I haven't smoked it for decades, but I believe it should be legal, especially for terminal cases. I've seen too many people in too much pain. So many have to be drugged absolutely senseless for relief with conventional medication that could still talk to their loved ones at least somewhat coherently.
