I am so dumb

*walks away in shame*

Man I love Home Depot, But Hate the people in there, they always treat me bad, and I am there almost every other week spending money.

Well with your tank, a 17W 6700K bulb is fine. However, you will be stuck with low light plants. What kind of plants are you intending to grow?

I really don't have any idea, If you could suggest some to me? other wise I went to home depot and looked at these bulbs and fixtures. I don't know the names of the plants I have in there now.

So If you could tell me 3 low light plants, 1 thats got some red 1 thats green and 1 low light moss that would be awsome. I would really like to keep this simple so low light plants would be the best.

Or I looked at two 4' quad light fixtures first set of lights are T12 the second are T8's, and again it will be a 48' bulb in a quad fixture.

The T8 Bulbs
Light Output 2800Lumens
Color Rendering Index 85
Color Temp 6500K
Watts 32

The T12 Bulbs
#1
Light Output 1600 Lumens
Color Temp 2700K
Watts 40

#2
Light Output 2200Lumens
Color Rendering 92
Color Temp 5000K
Watts 40

I am happy with low light plants if you can suggest some, I bought what petsmart said and well we all know what happend.

Here are the two plants I don't know the names of.

The plant with the odd shaped leaves is Water Wisteria (Hygrophila difformis) and should do fine with your current light levels. The other plant is Red Ludwiga and it needs stronger lighting to stay healthy. Also, you shouldn't leave your Pothos completely submerged as it will eventually suffocate. It's best to have the roots trailing in the water with the rest of the plant hanging over the side.

Those plants listed in that package are perfect for your set-up.

How much more light? would 1 more of these 17w 7500k grow lights per tank do the trick?
