Xanthic Green Sunfish

Anyone ever seen one? I caught one last summer n released it. I feel like I should have kept it. It kinda looked like this, except obviously a green sunfish

There is a huge black long nose gar in a river near me that I've been trying to catch lately. Way to big to keep but it's cool.

Thats not the actual fish. I found that online.Just showing it for reference. What I caught was a greenie. But it looked like the bass posted above except more yellow

Yeah that would be awesome.....have you gone back to that spot and tried to catch it again?

I mean it was a year ago who knows if its still there. If I go out with my buddy on the boat ill try that spot again

I know Rockbass and Largemouth bass will often return to the same area theyre caught from when released.....that would be a cool catch to keep (if its legal to do so in Ohio).
