Xbox 360 Kinect - Anyone Bought/Buying it?

nah ill stick to my controller untill it gets a bit cheper lol. heard they are making a whole new xbox console >.>

I don't see them making a new console anytime soon but they did release a new slim model which looks pretty cool.

Depends on the game. Obviously you are gonna stand while bowling or something like that. I had no problems sitting and playing Joyride.

I seriously doubt it. They has been and always be speculation but what Microsoft and Sony are saying with Kinect and Move is that they don't plan on any new consoles for awhile.

nah, i can pretty much buy a wii(consol designed for that) than buy the kinect. same with the ps3 move.

They made fun of the wii when it announced it was goin to be motion controlled. Now both are tryin to beat it. HA!

side note, cant wait till nintendo gets out thier 3d handheld. no need for glasses. only reason its cool

I HIGHLY doubt motion sensor will be the future of gaming. There are just too many games that you need either a controller or keyboard to play. The games for the kinect are lame to me and don't spark any interest at all. How is it that I don't like the kinect but that means I don't appreciate the "advancement of the hobby"? That makes absolutely no sense. If you are right, which I doubt and the future turns out to be motion sensor gaming count me out as a gamer.

Are you denying that motion sensor is the future of video gaming? lol, according to your way of thinking, you should've never upgraded systems EVER, because you have no appreciation for the advancement of the hobby.
Horrible way to go about life resisting changes and improvements.

i have a feeling it is. all 3 major consoles now have it, why would they go backward? Why would microsoft and sony "break through" with it and then completely abandon it for their future consoles? it's just one of those things that old schoolers will resist and then give in when they're left behind in the dust.
