Xbox One, thoughts?

Ya it's kinda sad because what they wanted to do makes sense (considering he used to work for EA...) but you can't force it on people when so many of them don't have internet access or just like playing offline. And you definitely can't go around saying stuff like that when you're the exec in charge of the entire xbox division lol

Yup exactly, you're just asking for trouble... but the biggest problem is that a lot of these companies don't seem to realize how un-stable a lot of peoples internet connections are still... so to force people to do this seems nuts imo...

But either way, this move will definitely make the race a little more interesting as long as its not too little, too late...

They tried to get to greedy. P4 didn't need to do that to make money and obviously neither did Microsoft but they wanted to be greedy and screw there gamers until every POll I seen had them losing by a 8:2 ratio. At that rate there gaming division would have gone out of buissness and that's the only reason they changed there policies. Its to late I seen there intent and will have nothing to do with them. Ps4, Nintendo ,king Kong ,aunt jemimah, it doesn't matter as long as its not Xbox one.

So many people I know are now going to the Xbox One after the change, except my cousin.

^ a lot of people i know have said the opposite and are sticking with PS4 when it launches... Since as they said, who's to say they wont flip flop again and re-introduce these features...

Ugh.. I'm still Un decided. I absolutely detest what Microsoft has done. However I do love the home theater aspect of the Xbox one. As I don't even have cable in my room any more. Hell I use a friends Netflix and another's HBO GO, and use the Verizon tv apps to get my nightly tv/movie fix.

I was also impressed by xbox dedication to online gaming stating that the XBL servers for the xb1 has more computing power then EVERY computer in the world in 1999... That's ridiculously impressive.

But... I often trade games with about 7-10 buddies on the regular bases. Me having my fish/guns/snakes as other hobbys, I don't often get to buy every game I like. So I'll grab it from a friend beat it and give it back. I have done this prolly 6 times this year already.

All in all I'm prolly leaning towards the ps4 as of right now unless Microsoft can do something to wow me between now and the launch.
