Also I agree. The 1-50 ranking system was SOOOOO much better. I hate going in and having to play kids on H4 that are absolutely horrible. Majority of the time I get them on my team. What can you do when your 28-10-7 and you lose by 20?

I don't play games for their story. I am a competitive gamer. I do not care if someone can beat the game on legendary with all the skulls on. I like the concept of outsmarting other human beings not computers. I buy games for their online game play not their campaign mode.

See, i play games completly different. I play almost only the story mode and drop difficulty sometimes on easy when its to hard just to see the story. I use the multiplayer only when friends are with me and ahrdly ever play online against others. Halo 4 moved the story on a much higher level. Its almost like an Anime now with the Didact and Librarian. The entire setting is much more anime like now. Requiem looks alot like it could be from Final Fantasy and i love that.

For the ps4 vs xbox one debate... I too am a 360 lover but am set back by some of the new things they are implementing. The 24hr check in? Doesnt bother me. The kinect being on? Dont care. The used games kind of sucks but honestly iv bought relatively few used games personally I only get games I REALLY want and normally at release. The other thing to consider is that whole the ps4 doesnt have a console wide drm... individual companies may impose any drm they want. EA for example will certainly keep their drm for multiplayer at least requiring registration through EA seperately and sony will not restrict that. Bith consoles now have paid online experiences so thats a wash. I prefer the 360 and one controllers since thats what I am used to but thats not a game changer for me. Ps4 is cheaper which is always nice but it does less... at my stage (a vet med student with little free time) I must say the home entertainment features of the xbox one make it more attractive. Most of the games I will care about will be released on both consoles anyway. I am stilll undecided between the two but am leaning slightly towards the xbox one at this point.

I played CE and nowhere was a lovestory implented of a Didact and a Librarian. The architecture on the Halos was impressive but not that style and not that mind blowing. Its a compeltly different style now. And i like it.

So surprised to hear H2 being last for some people...
H2 was the best halo period. The introduction of the BR and Xbox live expanded the game into MLG tournaments. Say what you guys want but the Xbox live times and the 1-50 ranking system of that game was just epic and good memories.

Then it goes H1, 3, 4 and lastly reach as that game was a disgrace.

Why was halo reach a disgrace? I thought it was pretty cool and I liked how it matched up and made sense with the rest of the storyline. Not the best but not the worst.

honestly I don't think there is a bad halo(not counting halo wars). I'm just going on what I played the most. Halo 1, 2, and 3 are all pretty classic games. I have many many hours on each. and even though 4 was good and reach was just ok I think they are still better than most games.

This is my opinion but bungie lost their touch with Reach because of the introduction and use of the jet-packs, armor locks, etc.
It was all about the simple use of battle rifles across the map of Lockout with grenades that took skill to throw. (h2)..not armor locking before you die and then having a teammate save your life (reach)
H4 was at least better because they brought back the battle rifle
