Xbox One, thoughts?

Isnt it just the games for this holiday? Why would developers continue to make games for an outdated platform? usually all production for the previous platforms completely shut down. The wii had plenty of life and they don't make squat for it

Ballin, actually they typically make get for consoles long after becoming "outdated ". In fact, they just recently stopped making ps2 games. Despite the fact that nobody sells them. Atleast that's what my friend told me. I haven't looked it up so don't take it as gospel.

You are absolutely correct in what you were told.
 
Hard to try and compare these first launch titles against the previous gen graphics. Remember how cruddy the first 360 and PS3 games looked? They looked just like the previous gen at that point, and they've come a hell of a long way since then.
 
In an official statement I read recently, games both retail and arcade will continue being made for the Xbox 360 until 2016.
 
yeah, full support, at least 100 new games until 2016 and games will still be sold in stores. Both retail game sales and xbox live is making them a ton of money still so they don't want to abandon it.
 
Wow that's good news, I figured this would be the last round of new 360 games. Anybody else getting Ghosts tonight?

Thought about, but I thought it would be a waste of time picking it up at midnight because i pre ordered it for the xbox one. Xbox one doesnt come out till the 22nd so i can wait :)
