Go Xbox, everyone I know that has both uses the PS3 as a paper weight cause it just aint any good. If you want a fun system and you aint chasing graphics the the Wii is the go. Xbox may have its problems but atleast it aint sinking like a rock, why do you think people stick with em, they are good.

My xbox lasted for 3 1/2 years before the DVD drive shat itself. Whenever I turned the system off, the dvd drive ejected and almost always would stop halfway etc. That and when my sister played it, everything went to *#^%. The software on it 'morphed' into another screen with no things to choose to do anything, apart from tech details. It wont even play games. Only had 56 or something. I had it chipped a while ago too.

reliability and blue ray make it the system for me I think.

As far as game selection and online play go...I would say Xbox 360 hands down. The PS3 will probably be more reliable but there has been a lot of complaining from developers that it's too hard to deal with. The Wii is just a fun system to mess around with...great pary-game system.

When I want hardcore graphics and intense gaming...I turn on my 360.

When I'm drunk and want to make a fool out of myself or watch my friends do the same...we fire up the Wii.

Very true...you can justify the price level when you factor in that you're getting a high-end Blu Ray player as well. Just to get the HD DVD addition for my 360 costs $200 so you end up paying the same price.

PS3 is still going to be a bad arse system...I'm sure I'll pick one up soon too...I usually buy them all. I'm dying to play Resistance: Fall of Man...that game looks freakin sweet. Plus...the online is FREE with the PS3 too.

My PS2 is still alive and kicking since 2000.
My Xbox was returned within the first month of owning it.
My replacement Xbox was returned withing the next 3 months.
My Xbox 360 is still kicking...but I get hardware errors

My brothers PS2 is still alive and kicking since 2000.
My brothers Xbox 360 got the ring of death and was replaced.
My brothers replacement Xbox 360 got the ring of death and was replaced.

I've read/heard that the 360's crap out most of the time due to heat...you need to keep the box somewhere where it gets really good airflow...I also keep that big box that the XBox gets its power from as far away from the console as possible. That box get very hot, even when the console isn't on!

I have friends that have the PS3 and have been less than impressed.

Developers appearantly are going to need a few years before they get a handle on the engine...after that...the PS3 will beat the crap out of the 360...sucks for the people that bought the launch models! I'll wait until the games are good and the system is reasonably priced.
