Wow, thats weird, 4 of my other friends 360 all busted with the red ring within the past 2 weeks.... crazy stuff. I know my roommate emailed them and they sent him a box to ship it back.

My wife paid $700 for my PS2 (she took my joke seriously about wanting it that X-mas on Launch year when it was nowhere to be found and got it on ebay) so the PS3 $599 price tag at the begining wasn't too too bad for me. my xbox360 has been fine for the past year and a half... only problem i had is my lil brother freakin broke the dvd drive some how and sometimes it wont open lol. but i jus push it a few times then it pops open.

ps3 is falling behind in life. and blue ray isn't that important in my life. i dont even own the hd-dvd player for my 360, i dont even own any dvds lol

You guys may find this interesting...the graph below is the cost of each unit adjusted for inflation to reflect the real economic cost on there release dates.
i just spoke with xbox, he just told me that if i can force my xbox to throw the ring of death it'll get repaired for free. otherwise im spending 99 bux to get it repaired. looks like im gonna break my xbox later today for a free repair lol
maybe i should actually play halo 3 then. i haven't played it much since i bought it.
and by breaking it, all im gonna do is force it to over heat lol. sounds crazy but it forces a complete hardware repair at no charge, my xbox is having other issues but the ring of death will force them to repair everything wrong with it.
so ill be wrapping it with a few towels as i play today n see how long before i get the ring of crap-o-la
