All I see is a young leporinus fasciatus…just about my favorite freshwater fish!
The red banded Leps when full grown are insane looking! They have a trunk like snout and orange and black bands. Very neat looking.

Yep! I could see striped kuhlis attemping to shoal with a red-banded leporinus if they were kept together, because of that pattern similarity ?

Description

Centropomus ensiferus is a very unique type of snook due to the fact that they are known to thrive in completely freshwater environments, in addition to reaching a relatively small size. These rare fish are also commonly found in brackish water, however, information on their brackish tolerance is sometimes disputed, and there is not a huge amount of information regarding it online.

Lol don’t show this to me…you have no idea how much I want them…just so dang expensive. But the closest thing us Americans have to a snakehead.
I want them so bad!!!! Considered these for my 55. They’re quite expensive!

Description

Potamotrygon marinae is a very rare stingray found in South America. They exhibit a very unique black and gold pattern. These fish are somewhere in the medium size range compared to other Potamotrygon species.
