Description

Hyphessobrycon notidanos is a rare tetra found exclusively in the upper Rio Tapajos in Brazil. They are very rare and sought after. Due to the remote natural habitat of this fish, they are rarely offered, and on the rare occasion on which they are, they will often sell for rather high prices. They possess a brilliant red color.


These are crazy expensive here and is a rare piece of fish

I will never understand why a fish is ‘super’ lol. Is it just for marketing?

I have decided that week 27 (May 5th, 2022 - May 11th, 2022) will be Oceania natives week.
Oceania includes Indonesia and Australia along with its surrounding islands. Are you going to include fish from these nations? I think it coul be cool to do fish from small island Nations instead of larger ones.

Description

Chaca chaca, also known as the frogmouth or squarehead catfish, is a very interesting blackwater catfish best known for its ambush hunting strategy and unique shape. These fish usually stay towards the bottom of the tank, buried in substrate, laying in wait for unsuspecting prey. May be compatible with medium-sized schoolers such as Leporinus sp.
