the eyes are quite fine. xbacks generally have bigger eyes in proportion to their heads as compared to reds and RTG's. the greens are a bit the same but the xback still has the biggest eyes when young.

the features are not so young coz i think these x-backs are goldenheads, right? early coloration maturity compared to body growth size. am i right?
 
sorry, i got it wrong on the eyes, Chillis have the largest eyes especially when young. but these xian lengs have great eyes too, i dont think theyre signs of being stunted. its just that i notice massive gold pigmentation at a very young stage, gold has started crossing at top level and even the base of the dorsal fins have golden pearls i think (pic not clear). thats why the fish looks mature. overall, good body form and head, excellent fish. really big potential. is this yours bro Chaos32?
 
This batch of xbacks are of high quality. No they are not mine, least not these 2 hehehe. I am just posting for heck of it. I have had the privilege of seeing some of their high end fishes first hand and I quite impressed. Believe it or not a few weeks ago I actually saw another batch of xbacks from them that are even more astonishing. However, at this time I am forbidden to release those pics. :D

Xian Leng has a outlet at Shah Alam in KL as well as Batu Pahat in Johor. Yes, most of the aros can be bought even the extrodinary ones. Prices depend on the quality I guess. Let me stress here that I do not represent XL nor do I stand to benefit. Other factors involved I shall not comment in an open forum.

I do believe that XL does not export aros to SG which is unfortunate. As for these 2 particular fishes, last time I checked, both were not sold yet.
 
like a little PLJ but maybe camera angle. nevertheless overall it is very nice piece and believe the rest of the same batch are equally nice.
