i have one of those and and a spec. and a xingu sp. my xingu 1 is a bit bigger than yours, and i think about to breed with the spec. they are great

awesome picture of your females!! VERY NICE!! Now get you a male xingu I and you'll be set. With two female in there you might actually be able to get them to breed. Might need to get a larger tank though so the extra female can get away...haha....oy.

Bummer that sucks yo! Have you tried puttin in both females? I know my male would go through spats where he would beat the crap outa her for a week where she would have to hide the whole time, and then he would love her for about two weeks. Put in a divider, him on one side, the two females on the other. helps a lot to have a dither in there to allow them to release their aggression. I had two adult oscars in a 150, plus the pair. They beat the SNOT outa the oscars (the oscars would try jumpin out when ever the pikes came near...haha) but I almost got my pikes to breed. If it wasn't for the ick, i probably would have! Very frustrating!
