Not sure what you're getting at Kiep because I think Mustangs are bad-ass cars, Lol! Are you talking about coloration, or just general condition? I wouldn't always think just because their f0/WC they'd be better fish. Either way you could get a clunker.

I agree, it kind looks like a tems. Xingus normally have some kind of spangling, and even some blue in the fins.

Mine @4-5" started to spot up.. I grew out a tem from 3-4" and it looked very very similar to the ones posted. The link i posted show my xingu how it grows out. It def never looked liked yours.

Hmmm yours does kind of look like a tem at this size though in this pic... ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1429479047.338213.jpg my guy is actually closer to 4 inches probably 3.75 now that I have a chance to look at him. I guess time will tell :)

He looks like aquascapes and this guy on aquabid's "xingu" except he has a lot more Spangling here's pics of aquascapes and the other guys's

Here's my guy pics I took yesterday when he was just released from the bag so not good at all but you CAN see a decent amount of Spangling looking at him today there's lots of Spangling on his tail and dorsals... A lot for a 3 inch bass actually compared to my occel at least
