you should see a properly set up XP3!:

I use the power jet as you can see

every once and while I see someone say the flow on the rena's suck, and I can't help but think that one of two thing are happening:

1) they are not set up properly or are dirty

or

2) there are a few rena's out there with bad motors...

because this one is jammed full of media and it blows like crazy, just like the filter in question in this post

my xp3 is like that as well...out of water...but when you submerge the nozzle a lot of the pressure is reduced...

try submerging the jet to see if you get the same current
