Xystichromis sp. "Kyoga flameback" or Xystichromis phytophagus

I was wondering what you all thought this Vic is...When I bought him the tank was labeled Xystichromis "Kyoga Flameback" but the guy helping me was calling him a christmas fulu. So I am not sure what he is. I am tending to lean towards the flameback as I found a pic that looks just like mine. I don't care either way what he is because both are hard to find around me.

I didn't think so either after looking on cichlid forums...Then I found the post from Tydus and now I really don't think it's a Fulu.

Yep, it's totally a xystichromis kyoga flameback not a fulu. Sorry for the late reply. They are rare and beautiful nonetheless. Get him some females. There is a chance that I might get some kyoga flamebacks from a different source. By the way, where are you located?

Thanks!!!! I did get some females....3. Good, I am even happier about my find now!!!! I may even go tomorrow and see if they have any left and buy all of them. It has been a week though so we'll see...
