my fulu males always "show" or dance for the female. they are quick about thier spawn. most the time the male diggs a pit. and defendsit rather well aginst all intruders then he will go out and intice the female in by his color and flashing, and dancing. good luck i hope they spawn for you.

its hard for me to get a good shot that really shows the blue its the flash. great fish you have though

He is most definitely defending the far back corner of the tank. Which is wierd because that is on the opposite side of where he normally hung out. It is a lot more secluded though.
