YA!! Finally got my retics!!!!

The female ray was choppin on cut up eathworms this morning, I was so relieved. The male is not eating yet, maybe tonite. I am going to pick up more blackworms, so hopefully he will come around too!!!!!

take out all the other fish and rehome them for now untill you get the rays eating and fattened up, then you can put your aro and clown knife back in with them, i wouldnt put any of the other fish with them

Just an update for you guys, I guess I am kind of lucky. The male started eating last night. He may have been eating before, but I never witnessed it. Both are chompin on cut up nightcrawlers. Not taking the blackworms at all.

I will post up pics tonite, the only sad thing is both of them lost some of they tail. The female lost all of her tail up to the stinger. The male is missing about an inch of his tail. I know it will not grow back, but I guess thats a good thing, cause I know retics will have very long tails.

I still think that my male retic is not pure breed. They are both WC rays, someone posted about how he or she though one of them were a hystrix. The male who is way, way light than the female is the one I suspect. They both have somewhat of the same pattern, but one is like almost black and one is like tanish green. Maybe its a hybrid? Does anyone know if its possible for a reticxhystrix. I am reallly loving the male, cause for his color.

Sorry for the long post, I am at work and it is way slow. You guys can tell how wrong I am after I post up pics.
