Yay! my ring neck doves laid eggs!

i just walked outside to check on my doves and they finally laid eggs! cant wait till they hatch. this is their first time so i hope everything goes well. and how long does it take for the eggs to hatch? i heard it was like 2 weeks or something like that.

If they look like baby pigeons (aka Rock Doves) they will be. I've raised dozens of baby Homing, Tumbler and Roller Pigeons and I never saw a cute baby.

man i would be scared if i went to check in on the eggs and i saw one of those looking back at me. its a face only a mother can love i guess

update: So last night the mother only laid one egg. i thought she laid two. Around 7pm i went back out to check on the mother and she wasnt sitting on the egg! it was cold and windy last night. she didnt sit on it for like an hour so im guessing the egg got cold and its probably not going to hatch.
