No Salinity whatsoever. Water tends to be fairly alkaline...
When Fish & Wildlife initially introduces Peas to SOuth Florida it was Tems, Ocell and Monos...Tems couldnt deal with the little bit of cold weather we have. I may know of some Tems introduced to a lake a few years back...don't know how they may have done...

I agree that would be awesome! That would ALMOST make me move to FL. But they dont have mountains for me to snowboard on and FL doesnt have cool mj laws like CA.
water in bucket is like that possibly due to slime coat from the fish as they were just hooked. but don't know much about the water there but just my guess.
