You should be happy because true ocellaris don't come around too often since the mono/ocell hybrids are mainly flooding the markets. It's very beautiful in my eyes. So what are you feeding it?
wow. i just got into cichla back in december. I had two monos. Friend threw jags in my tank. ended up killing the two monos they were looking great. Then i orderd a broko from wess and grabed two cichla from a local lfs. had them in a growout tank. something got knocked in it or something. they died. finaly got that tank back to being safe. for fish. The ocell in the above pics. I got from a member on here. Forget his name. I traded my lungfish for it. I like the fish. Just dont have the colors markings i exspected.

interesting bass hes about as unmarked as ive ever seen i will agree with occel but with hesitation leaning towards a hybrid at 8 to 10 inches his bars should be changing drastically whats he eating and how long has he been in the tank when you took the shots ?
