A short time ago I posted pics of my Castle Decorated 75 gallon and recieved mixed reviews. Some viewers were pleasantly reminded of "Harry Potter," while others requested "real" rocks and driftwood.

This past weekend I decided to change the tank's appearance and create a Natural set up. We bought three pieces of driftwood and thus far have only used 1. I was surprised to realize that the wood wouldn't sink. So I drilled holes in the wood and used fishing line to tie the driftwood to the underground filter. "So far so good..."

The rocks came from a landscaping company at $8.17 for all 63lbs. I was amazed to see nice rocks for that price.

Enjoy the pics and let me know what you think?

Any suggestions on methods of sinking driftwood?

Finally you be the judge? "castle look" or "natural look"

Thats only about 100x better.

Still, for the bottom gravel id personally go with sand for Africans. That piece of wood is nice. Looks good.

Looks real good! Let us know how the fish like their new evironment if any change at all. Post some additonal pics when you get the other pieces of drift wood added! Nice work!

I think the big castle is cool and the castles and some rocks and wood would look dope on white or black sand, and give your Africans more copious abodes...

Much better...
Any problems w/the Blue Crayfish and Clown Loaches, or any fish for that matter?

I tend to lean more toward the natural look too but the castles look great. I like them both too.
