oh you young bucks with your attitudes lol. I wish I'd listened to my parents when I was young, I'd be in a lot better shape in life haha.

Keep the passion for the hobby despite what others say and do, and some day you'll be in complete control of your tank and stock, which is a glorious feeling. I remember when I decided meh what the hell I want 6 aquariums, and no one but my bank account objected lol.

lol I remember being in this position, when I wanted loads of massive tanks in my parents house. Eventually I had a 52g and a 20g in my room, which in hindsight I'd cringe at now as the potential for leakage etc isn't worth thinking about when you live under someone else's roof.

I have only one bit of advice to give you, which you may not like. It's learn to live with what you have aquarium wise, and save the bigger plans until you move out.

If that's the case I see a larger aquarium than my 210 coming in my future.

My daughter is always pestering me about letting her get more reptile vivs, my answer is always No. She knows what's she is doing and is always on forums, the reason I say no is before she ties herself down with commitments like this she needs to go out and live, your only young and stupid once, so to all you young ones on here I would say the same,
