So just getting ready to go to bed after cleaning up after a disaster here... not even 1 year old acrylic tank split open along the rear seam pouring water out... fortunately it is in a back corner behind the overflow so it wasn't a full 320 gallons spewing all over the floor. Fish are in a kiddie pool in the basement...ugh hopefully the builder helps me resolve this.

You should still be under warranty , I hope they resolve it quickly for you.

that sucks this recently happened to me also with one of my tanks but it was on the
lower left side front seam shut the whole tank down and repaired it and since its down
i decided to just paint and sand/buff it while at it. luckily you should be under warranty
still if you bought the tank new and it's only been a year since if not you can easily repair
split seams with acrylic weldon/cement.

i feel your pain! i had just done a 55% wc on the tank when minutes later i heard the seam
pop and leak... i was so frustrated... lol

Thanks, just talked with the builder and he's sending me liquid acrylic to put in the seam. He's confident that will be a good permanent solution.

Sucks to see this thing empty... only positive was that I was not 100% happy with my sump and now I'll have a little time to work on it...

Some pics,....back left corner went out. Thank God the overflow held back 90% of the water...
