You have any airation in there? They usually do that if they dont have enough oxygen in the water or somethings wrong with your water.
Ive had one like that, i got 6 wc rays from peru, and the ammonia was sooo high in the bags that i just had to drop them straight into the tank, the tank was perfectley cycled, every parameter was perfect, but it died, it didnt die that day,it died a month later, but refused to eat and just died slowly..Im sorry to say but when that happen, i think he has tipped over.. yeah check your water and go to plecocaves.com they sell blackworms and are close. $27 for 1lb overnighted included.

check your water perm. Let us know asap what they are.
do a 30% water whange just to make sure also after you test.
Is there any air being pumped into the tank? How do you get air in the water?
Only reason I say a good thing is I have had two after bringing them home and them getting use to the tank and not so stressed, they use to like floating up at the top corner of my hospital tank. BUT, thats not always the case.. Check the water. make sure... let us know what the reading are...

ya i take the water to my local pet store, my water is just fine, the ray is ok i put more air into the tank and within a few min he went bk to the bottom and has stayed there, he even ate again, what happened was the 6 way popped its circuit and one of my pumps stopped working so only one pump was running, so i flipped it bk on and hes doing alot better moving aroundf alot more and he loves those black worms i have a water testing kit but somewhere during the move it got lost i think its in storage, but its ok, my local pet store is just up the street from me like one street over so it doesn't bother me to go have water tested, oh and i did a water change on top of it all to
