You guys had to see this before--

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would test for nitrates right before you do your next water change. See what the results are. Might be a good idea to up the frequency of levels are high.
Love to see a picture.

If you go to your local Pet store, Check out The African tanks. Just look at them for a few minutes. I will be surprised if you tell me none of the fish are scratching / flashing. Anyway if you do see this, I would really like to know what is going on----- For years I can't figure this out. Again there is no signs of Ich. Some one must know what this is. I am at the point now to seek out the answer.

So here is what's happening---- I tried raising the temp. and adding salt. This did not help. I tried ParaGuard quite a few treatments and that did not help. Fish were still scratching/flashing. Water parameters are great and again no signs of ICH. So I am trying Cupramine --So far so good. I did a big water change and as the water was filling up I added the Cupramine as directed. Turned out to be 120 drops for a 150 gallon. Brought up to (0.25 mg/l). A few hours later not seeing any scratching. Keeping my fingers cross. Cant believe it would start to work so quickly. Its not from the water change as I do frequent water changes and testing. Now I wait 48 hours for one more dose and that is it. just have to wait a total of 14 days. I will keep you guys updated. keeping my fingers cross ----- this may be the miracle med. for me lol
