when you get to a new house and the first thing you check is where your tank is going to fit, forgetting you have sofas to fit in.

when your wife has to tell you "no you cant get rid of one sofa to make room for a bloody 10ft tank".
 
when your mates come over to your house and look at your tank and say "WOW!!! when im rich i'll have one like that!!! :D" and then they see all your other tanks and say "hey...you're weird....why do you like fish so much?!"
 
When:
Your fishroom walls are cycled from the huge amount of condensation.

You make little baby talk noises and kissy sounds when handfeeding a fish.
 
There was a thread like this before. Let's see if I can remember a few of mine...

-the water company sends a repair truck to your house to investigate a leak after you finish water changes (happened to me twice).

-you live in a 2500 sq/ft brick ranch and your fish live in an 8000+ sq/ft brick ranch.

-some nights you realize that while you're eating hamburger helper for dinner, your fish are eating shrimp.

-your digital picture frame holds a dozen family pictures and 275 fish pictures.

-you lose a 4 inch lungfish for 7 months and it reappears in an unused and unfed tank. Only it's now 10".

When you have more fish food in your cabinet than for yourself.

When you have to lie about your fish keeping activities to your spouse, as if you were having an affair.

When the only friends you have are a bunch of dudes from a fish forum.
 
when your
refered to as the fish kid,
or spend enough time in the lfs tht everyone(including workers) actualy think your an employee
when your family is pissed at all the fish stuff, and wet floors/water damage :hitting:

When your at petsmart, and an employee misinforms a newbie to fishkeeping and you have to jump in and correct them

when you walk into the lfs and they say "Hey Joe! Back again?"
 
when you walkinto the lfs and
" whats up ryan want those ( blablablabla) yet"
