when you shop for houses and your wife looks at the pool in the backyard as a "place to swim and relax" while you look at it as a giant fish tank 
When you tell one of your best friends, repeatedly, "You better shut up Brenna, or Ima throw you in my fish tank...splashhh" & you think it's quite possibly the funniest thing you've ever said.
When you are trying to tell your fiance about your day & all you can manage to talk about is some of the discussions you've seen on MFK that day...
When you're cracking up at a fish joke you read on here & you try telling someone about it, and they just look at you like you're an idiot.
When you're trying to convince your parents that turning their swimming pool into a pond for your Pacu is the BEST idea EVER.
When you're looking to buy play sand for your tank, rather than for your kid.
And...
when your 5 yr old is telling you an "important story" (which in my case typically involves Batman these days), you say "Wait wait...look at what the fish is doing!"
