canuck, i would espect that much in an hour. if it wasnt then i would be sad. ur still a light wieght

I say go for it man, i wont want to regret on something that i didnt do when i had the chance to do it. worst case scenario its still a lesson learned. painful but in some cases necessary.

Tell her how you feel, and ask how she feels. If your that good of friends, then if she says no, it'll only be a little roadbump, if she says yes, you could have a great thing going!

oh my god! You're asking for relationship advice from on a fish forum? Have you seen the questions some people ask about fish? You'd trust them with relationship advice!?!

I knew i was in love when i saw her avatar pic btw = ) You know who you are! lol, i'm 100 percent kidding

I had a brief "relationship" with a female friend I had been very close to for years. It fizzled and we stopped talking for a bit but since then we've been fine and are as close as ever. To put it in perspective imagine finally getting around to asking this girl out when you're 21, thats about how long we had known each other.
I would normally say go for it. Better to risk you're friendship than to spend years wondering what if. BUT at your age I would say hold off and see how things go for a while. Dating before you have a car is pretty pointless so all the risk would be for nothing.

dude i got the same problem, know a girl since i was 2 days old, never went out with her. been "in love" with her for about 5 years now. seen her go through 3 boyfriends, and everytime she would always B&%$& about them to me. she has lett my mom know how nice i am and how i she is my oldest friend. i am considering of asking her out, you should do it man. you will probably regret it later on. i know i will.
