And before I get flamed, I know it is way overstocked, but the 360gal is coming next month or two... :headbang2

Are you using marine grade salt or aquarium salt? Cause that salinity would kill or severely stress almost all of your fish, even if they are surviving they can't be happy

Second Post replied to in a row about salinity huh? lol
U gotta give me more credit man, Ive been doing this aquarium thing for over 10 years now, 5 of which have been all Brackish. Considering I'm only 24 years old, thats a decent portion of my life...
I use Instant Ocean Marine Mix. I was gonna use Live Bearer Salt but cost pointed me in another direction.
The LFS guy told me to use aquarium salt cause he's never heard of using marine salt in Brackish lol. (plus aquarium salt is way more expensive around here)
So ya, what do you think i should stock with?
Ive been thinking about Alligator Gar, Florida Gar, Motoro Ray, Peacock Bass, and Redtail Cat, But not sure yet....
Thus this thread :)

Besides the eel, all of your fish are freshwater and aren't built to handle that much salt. To be honest, I'd wait until your fish grow a bit more and then decide if you have room for another fish.

That's strange considering all of my fish are doing great (ie, no disease, no sustaining injury, great appetite, active swimmers, personable, no signs of stress, all the "good things." And how do you figure all my fish are fully freshwater? They all come from brackish rivers, estuaries, and mangrove swamps, aside from the African species... So what exactly should I do considering I'm doing everything wrong on all but one of my fish? and BTW the 92"x30"x30" tank is coming in a month, two at the most... and after that the 1200 gallon 120"x48"x48" is coming within the next 3 years... so eventual size is of no concern with the exception of an arapaima or 18' freshwater ray...

I think what you have there is plenty for the 360, if anything I suggest you get a wider 360...I'd personally take a little off the top and the length and order a 36 or 48 W

Even another 120g would be better for quite a while, like an 8'L x 4'W x 2'H.
It would be easier to get into the top and probably not too much more cost if any.
Going over 24" deep and you'll need to go up another size in thickness. Stay at 24" deep and you can get more gallons and a wider foot print.

~$0.02 ;) :D

hmm how about a dat to top it off ;]

Well thanks for the input, I like the constructive criticism. Not many posts going up in this thread except for the guy telling me about my salinity and how my fish are all fresh and blah blah blah
