haha U-verse? To be honest, I like the service, you know, the features, the DVR in every room, but it is WAY to unreliable to keep. We are going back to Comcast on the 5th. The internet is WAY WAY WAY faster, and it generally ALWAYS works. Cool idea but they need to work out the bugs...

It keeps on costing us more and more...I have my cells, home phone, internet, and u-verse 2000 and no matter how they crunch the numbers it is $280.00 a month... that's just 2 cells and 4 rooms of cable/dvr...
The whole reason I went to them was the single bill and the guy penciled me to save over a hundred a month...NuUH!! not even any!
Savings HELL! it cost more than cable, internet and home phone from Comcast, then I can add in Sprint PCS for 70 bux for 2 unlimited talk/text/internet...

I'm wondering if I can run my laptop through the cell internet access? like using the cell phone as a wifi hot spot? It can't be any slower than AT&T u-verse stock internet speed.

HAHA! I did the exact same speed test, and was totally dissapointed! my comcast was like 19.9Mbps! Awesome for gaming! This stuff I get kicked out of almost every game, and thats on a console!
