I had fed my Rays mussels for a period of time so I am now concerned if I should do it

I alternate between different frozen seafood, mainly prawns, squid, yellowtail scad, pangasius, mussels, oysters and white bait fish

I always gaved my rays mussels, worms, tilapia, pangasius, shrimp, pellets, scampi and so on.
But man o man i had really bad luck.
He was just ready to breed fml

Thank you. I guess i will but that was a special one for me. That albino was reason i started to buy a tank again and start after i was gone for 4 years.
But o well its life....

As stated above, the mussels are filter feeders. Likely where they were sourced from the water could have had some toxins. Toxic algaes won’t affect the mussels, but can be fatal for organisms that consume the mussels. “Red tide” comes to mind.
