When I set-up my 35. This was my very first days at fish-keeping, I didnt do a water change for 5-6 months. So I the tank just had a load of water sitting in there for 5-6 months before it got changed. Oh you should of seen the crud in the gravel.

and the fish survived?

i regret buying pacu, i wish the lady at the pet store didnt lie instead of telling me they got 8 - 10 or w/e she said i wish she just said they keep growing and growing and growing. i sold them yesterday i miss them, but had no room, they should not be in the aqurium trade! way to large. i learned a lesson tho, read read, read b4 buying any fish!

I regret selling my poly collection a few months back, because somehow I convinced myself that since I was newly restricted to only one tank, having a big small community fish tank would be more enjoyable because I could have more fish. :screwy:

A pc light I bought to begin a 180g planted tank, broke in transit, and the guy never refunded me like he said he would.

Shortly after I woke up and realized that I can't live with that tank, and need my monsters, so I had to start my bichir collection all over agian

Man, that is one fish I wish the big box chains would stop selling.

for me: I wish I had started with African cichlids rather then tropical community. The perfect fish for me.

wish I had kept the 6" Caquetaia myersi that I bought from the trade in tank for $7.00. Rapps finally has one on his stock listed at $125.00

not buying those two FRT's at my LFS a while ago for only 450
