Your Dream Fish!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'll have two of everything everyone else has posted:D

I'd like a Super Red, RTC, TSN, WC Green Terror and .......

breeding colony of punk plecos

Well since Orcas aren't fish I'd have to go with a great white shark. But I think a school or barracuda would be pretty cool.

If we're being somewhat realistic, maybe an adult gator gar and arapaima.

how about some albino dovii..or freddies, but can i just say lake nicaragua

OK, timeout. Why does everyone on these forums use the scientic names for fish? I know many of you guys memorized many of these names already but there is no way you can get them all down. Is it becuase it makes you sound smart??? I have actually posted a couple of replies with "made up" names and apparently no one knows or cares. just my 2 cents...o yeah those magneus clortiherias are very awesome fish!

A shoal of Caribe piranhas. Some day, I will talk my wife into it! If I can't afford those, I will settle with Red-Belly.

I can't speak for everyone, but some fish just don't have common names, african cichlids in particular. In those cases, what else can one do? Sometimes, people use them just to be smart ***e$. Take the poecilia reticulata (common guppy) that was posted earlier for example.

As far as my dream fish, that's easy. I'd like an 80,000 gallon tank with 6 or 7 Carcharhinus melanopterus (aka blacktip reef shark.)

I'd be willing to settle for an RTG arowana or an arapaima as well.

i would like a large indoor pond of hoplias malabaricus.
and a large tank of malaterurus electricus.
and a large out door pond of amia calva
