Thanks guys, as for oragami, nope, I can make a cicada ans shrimp but that's it, I bowl about 214, at least that was my average over the last three games. Can't dance for squat, have no ear for languages, and type with 2 fingers.

weird about the knife, but still impressive. Honestly, I try to balance my knives, but I have never bought one of those freakish, useless, made-just-for-throwing knives.
I'm curious as to how you do it?
I hold whatever I am going to throw with the butt of it against the heel of my thumb and the blade/shaft resting between my index finger and ring finger, supported by my middle finger, then raising my hand to just above my shoulder I snap it forward, the heavier and longer (to about 8") the object, the longer the distance before it starts to tumbe. with a longer object like a tire iron I keep my wrist stiff and snap from the elbow, it is harder to do.
Never tried to explain it before though I have shown a few people.

thanks, I just might try that

Thanks for the tip, Guppy! I used to annoy my next door neighbor in the dorms by repeatedly throwing a knife into a wall-mounted bulletin board. Now I can annoy my neighbors by throwing pens through fence boards! :D

and when they complain to you, just pick up a pen and kind of fiddle with it...

This is going to take a while...

I am a shodan of Wado-ryu, I have been teaching at the U of I for the last 5 years now, and have trained with Kyokushin and shotokan, as well as the grandmasters from both styles. I am a Wado-ryu fighter, and have trained with 2 of the three grandmasters of my style. I have fought in several tournaments, and will most likely be fighting in this coming years full contact, bare knuckle, take down tournament. I have been on team USA, and team washington, for the international circuit, but have never gotten to follow those through due to monetary constraints. It is expensive to fly to japan or greece to fight for 3 days. I have also cross trained with several styles including: Kyokushin, shotokan, issen-ryu, $hito-ryu, shorin-ryu, uechi-ryu, kung fu, shaolin, tae kwon do, tai chi and brazilian jujitsu. Many long years of training, but you never stop learning.

I know basic hand to hand combat if I need it and a little Tae Kwan Do. I'm pretty good with a staff and throwing knifes. But I shine in long/short distance shooting :) . Oh yeah, and I can field strip my AR-15 in in the dark and put it back together just as quick.:D

Im a deputy black belt in Tae-Kwan-Do.

I do jujitsu, tai chi, taekwando, and regular boxing

:]

trying to get in MMA
