It was, and still is my largest. A 110 tall 48x18x30 that my wife took me on a random road trip for a couple of hours to pick up after she found it on craigslist.
That must have made a mess considering it is a decent sized aquarium.
I caught it after about 1 gallon had leaked out, it was a slow drip leak. Drained it and put everything I had into a 37 until I could bring them to my LFS.
You couldnt re-seal the tank? I had that happen wtih my 55gal it busted open at the seals in the townhouse we rented, not a pleasent call to have to make, but we dried out the carpet, re-sealed the tank and it was good to go.
At the time, I was living at home. Because of this, the parents didn't care if I re-sealed it. They didn't want to risk the leak again, so until I moved out I was downsized to a 55 (That is older than I am - made in 1983) that I still have.
Oh, You got pretty lucky.I caught it after about 1 gallon had leaked out, it was a slow drip leak. Drained it and put everything I had into a 37 until I could bring them to my LFS.
That must have been a good suprise...It was, and still is my largest. A 110 tall 48x18x30 that my wife took me on a random road trip for a couple of hours to pick up after she found it on craigslist.
