my cousin kept a comet alive in a cup for like 3 months... he won it at a carnival... he didn't declorinate the water and he fed it crumbled dog biscuits...

That's impressive.
My first was a goldfish bowl at 6, but after that the family had a 10 gal when I was 9-11. Then I bought my first tank at 17.
This is the progression of my tank over a couple years.
My first tank was a 1g bowl with 1 common pleco 2 neon tetras, 2 baby guppies and no filter or heater whatsoever
10g tank with community fish (moms choice) @ the age of 10. Then I bought an Oscar and it ate all of her fish.
At about 6 years old I got 10 gallon tank from a Good Will store, I threw in there whatever I caught in the stream nearby.
i was..11? got my first 10gallon tank with no filter LOL and had like 3$ worth of feeder goldfish..GG?
