Loaches
Why loaches? Just curious since you didn't give reasoning yet.
Loaches
but the fish that I find quite repulsive are the assorted short-bodies and other should-have-been-culled mutations, closely followed by hybrids.
Serious hobbyists are always looking for wild-caught fish of "pure" strains...not just pure species, but actual pure strains from particular collection points. And yet other keepers, often no less serious but with different priorities, are cross-breeding everything they can get their hands on, creating all these weird mutts that are in such hot demand. This is definitely a "me" problem, unless of course these synthetic critters are then sold back into the hobby to unsuspecting hobbyists that think they are getting something that they are not.
Common Plecos , bullhead catfish, channel catfish, red tail catfish i have found them to be the most annoying catfish ever people are always rehoming certain fish dumping it on someone else and the cycle continues over and over again.

Right you are! You could say I'm the holotype of Homo sapiens loachaholici (Thoene, 2006)Just joking lol. Only said it because you seem to love loaches.
As a real answer, any short body or genetically defored fish that reduces QOL.
Blood parrot cichlids are usually sterile because of chromosal incompatibility, they have a difficult time eating because of mouth deformities, their vision is impaired because their irises are usually blown out, they can have buoyancy problems because of swim bladder deformities...all because somebody in PetSmart thinks they are cute. Meanwhile, hundreds of wild cichlids have gone extinct and hundreds more can't even generate the funding to be scientifically described. It is a waste of fishkeeping.
