Invasive fish like common plecos, snakeheads, clown knifes and big head carps. I dislike their impact in my native country but I currently keep some. I also hate some goldfish breeds that literally reduce their lifespan and quality because of their physical appearance.

Gulper catfish - a fish for people who enjoy the suffering of other fish in the same tank.

Not the Gulper's fault; they certainly don't require live foods. They're just one of many, many species of predatory fish that people like that gravitate towards as an excuse for their own sadism. :(

Have you seen the one video where the gulper was eating a tsn twice it's size, and the tsn's head was sticking out of its ass? That's the kind of obnoxious bs I hate about gulpers

Yeah, I've seen that one. I thought the TSN actually popped out of a rupture on the side of the Gulper? Makes a person wonder how many of them explode in nature when they try the same thing. The ability of Gulpers to do stuff like that is well-known and well-documented, so most of the time when a Gulper eats a tankmate I think it is still the owner's fault. The other fish is lost not due to a sadistic desire to watch live feedings, but rather due to a simple lack of research on the part of the owner.

But, admittedly, Gulpers seem to be able to surprise even people who "know better", simply because their swallowing abilities are just so extreme they are literally beyond belief. I can't really say that I hold that against them; they look like little comic-book caricatures of typical catfish, so I still kinda like them. They're so ugly they're cute. :)

I've lost fish due to cannibalism, despite thinking that I had taken sufficient steps to prevent it. It's a terrible feeling, and the guilt eventually led me to simply give up on those species rather than continuing to try to get them cohabitate successfully.

As with most of the fish on my list I admittedly like most of them visually, or am at least fine with them (with the exception of blue whale cats and festivums), and do like the wiggly swimming pattern of gulper cats. I just don't like everything else about them.

Leporinus I can probably move to the "generally do not like" list as opposed to the hate list, and can instead replace them with cornish jack mormyrids. Forgot about those.

There's a guy posting on YouTube bragging laughing about whether his gulper will "eat a goldfish today" then makes a header about how his gulper "didn't eat ____fish today. See?" then drops a goldfish in the tank. The gulper grabs it by the head then spits it out. Really, you@ hole?

That one guy whose whole channel is "trying to get his gulper catfish friends"
I know he knows what he's doing in saying that, but yknow
Admittedly he taught me how to do CPR on fish so that kinda neutralizes things a bit but eh
Or the people in Florida with a disgusting pool pond full of bass that they feed random animals to

Imo Tony is a pretty funny guy. I’ve watched his videos here and there. has some cool videos catching big smallmouth on simcoe and his weight estimates are pretty funny.

Blue Whale cats! Never would have thought of them, never saw one in person until only about a week ago...and I must admit that I found them quite repulsive...with no redeeming qualities or features that I could discern. :barf:
