Mbus tend to be a little more aggresive when they are younger. They like to fin nip, but as they age it tends to go away. All of the Mbu I have ever kept are super peaceful, unlike Fahakas who kill for fun.

I have two at the moment, my little 3 in guy picks on the 10in one. (no marks, just swims at him)

The only thing they are aggresive towards, are crawdads.

These are older pics but pleny of tankmates and clown loaches without so much as a nibble.
Good stuff man, great loach and puffers too

good pickup buddy. everyone needs a mbu. get him on prawn and cockle in the shell and you'll have him massive in no time. their huge bellies are hilarious when they're young.

one tip i'd give is to feed them from hand if you can from a young age, a bit hard and dangerous with small prawn but with mussel and cockle in shell it's easy enough and very good for them to get the crunch to keep their teeth in check. the reason to feed them by hand is as unlike popular misguided opinion by those that haven't kept them they are very peaceful and not aggressive, quick feeders and so at feeding time once they are big and amongst other monsters they don't stand a chance to get any food.

this means they start foraging and as curious fish they can have a nip at things they think might be food and their teeth do serious damage. polypterus are a definite no no as they are not particularly active and so that's why a curious mbu tends to nip them. by feeding from hand early they get used to it and then will take the food from your hand in the future when it becomes harder to get food to them.
