I fed it squid they can grow to 4-6 feet. Mine got to around 23" when my chillers condenser plugged up with dust and lent and didn't cool down the water. I was out of town a week during the summer and the water got too hot and killed the whole tank. I had Horned sharks and a Leopard shark when that happen
