yup, I thought so, every tune I ever posted got deleted, they just wipe the whole thread?
 
yup he is a little cuty. no body marking at all, fins clear, no graying or darkening. eye sight is good , least so far, we see, will not know for real sure for another 2 months or so.

Yeah, unfortunately he died a few months ago. I only had him for maybe 3 years or so. I had to move my 225 gallon tank over to my dad's office building because my parents were planning on renovating the house, and there was nowhere else to put it, and I've lost several fish since the tank's been over there, for whatever reason. Lost my Lima shovelnose cat, my Synodontis, and my silver arowana, just one after another, and my oscar is now nearly blind from an infection it had around the same time.

As for the Synodontis though, the Lfs had gotten him in accidentally with a batch of Synodontis eupterus, and they had mislabeled him as Synodontis melanosticta. He was about 9" long when I got him, so the price was actually quite good. He grew about 3-4" in the time I had him, so he was a pretty good size by the time he passed away.
