What are thoughts about the footage of a kid finding a "merman" on the beach?The authorities putting him in an isolation tank and the footage of the merman in the tank. Talk about A Monster Other Water Critter. There is also footage of fisherman catching something really strange in their net. An ithyhumanoid looking thing.

Strange Things: Big Amphibian. One summer as kids my sister and I saw a giant toad crawling across our yard in rural Washington State. It's body was about 3 feet. I guess about ¾ the length of our golden retriever which was barking at it furiously but not getting too close. And our chickens were cackling in alarm.
Our grandmother heard us yelling for her. She came out of the house and blasted it with a garden hose gun to move it along out of our yard.

When I related this experience to a friend years later, she told me of seeing something strange on the side of a country road about 15 miles away from the same area. She stopped her car and backed up near it and got out the car. It was a giant toad about 3 foot across. It wasn't moving. She decided not to check if it was dead or alive.
Imagine having that in your terrarium half covered with damp rotting leaves with its bulging eyes poking out. Competition for the Munsters and their dragon Spot as for best spooky household pet.

I have seen bullfrog tadpoles over a foot long, put a couple in my tank, they turned into even smalller bullfrogs than my regular ones.

Speaking of giant things : came across a 8 ft common snapping turtle in the lake of the ozarks

I know the Submarine Shark was a hoax. But some of the merman footage seemed compelling -the fishermen finding something in their net..but some of it also seemed contrived.

Wow and wow. We have some big bullfrogs in my parents' big pond, I can hear them but never seem them. They sound big though. I will have to ask my Dad how big they are.

Really?.....aint that what they are there for?

War isn't making nice nice, but I did like it when there was a temporary ceasefire during World War II around Christmas and the combatants exchanged, chocolates and cigarettes and such. Decades later we are allies.

Wow and wow. We have some big bullfrogs in my parents' big pond, I can hear them but never seem them. They sound big though. I will have to ask my Dad how big they are.

Why not look yourself? Take some pics, bullfrogs like weedy spots near land, go out
At night and bring a flashlight, you shine it at the frog and they have trouble seeing you coming ( big flashlights work best)
