Things came together in this session. It is when I realized I could make picture come out the way I wanted instead of just getting a lucky picture.

This was shot back in january. I picked it because it was my best pic so far this year. I picked it as my favorite because it was exactly what I wanted in the pose, and it was the best from a technical perspective. Barely required any pp whatsoever. It didn't hurt that it also won me a couple of contests.

Thanks, Ed. There's a thread deep in the Aquatic folder with these in it. This was also the pic where I had to do some hard and fast learning about adjusting a photo for printing. I had entered it in a fish expo on 8x10 paper, but with a slightly different crop. That was a lesson in frustration. :lol:
