That does make sense. There are too many fish so they don't get big, the smaller ones need to be fished out. I've fished a pond like that too. Three of us caught 68 bass 14" or larger in three hours. At least 50 of those were 14-15".

unless he is fishing at a new lake, where it was first stocked a few years ago that shouldnt be the case, it just seems like there are only small guys, but you gotta find new holes, or fish them out, especially in georgia, i understnad your case in michigan but the so called pigs are bigger down south

yea well its semi private, its 4 miles by a 3/4 mile maybe not many people fish on it and no motor boats, ill make you guys drool with amazing fish next time im up there

theres alot of electric motor only lakes by me. soon gonna be 3 then lanier and all them monster lakes.Private lakes produce huge bass b/c there not used to be caught, and just bite then think. My uncle got a 11lb bass like 13yrs ago from his 3 acre lake so when i fish it i'm gonna buy some 20lb braid:D

Wow you guys need to learn to fish if you're only catching 3-4lb. bass. Thats about a average up here in Michigan lol. This is was one of my best catches last year, didn't measure it, or weigh it but it had to be about 5-6lb. range.
