I am a fishkeeper A CHRISTIAN FISHKEEPER, Christian will always come first.

Does your faith influence or alter in any way, the manner in which you keep fish? If not, you're just a fishkeeper; join the club.

sure it does I does the amount of time, money, effort, love, devotion, etc... is based on my priorities which come directly from my religious belifes. the people I associate with as close friends on this site and other forums like this is also affected by my religious belifes. I do consider MFK a family but I dont agree with or confide in all my family members because some of them are pretty jacked up, (drug dealers and users and stuff) and I do the same on here.
besides that the point is what is acceptable in the Lounge forum, I have never told anyone what to feed their peacock bass based on a bible verse:ROFL:

Ok. I agree.. But at teh same time we have threads where the people that are offended by religious responses and political responses are so wonderfully mature that they think it is non offensive to talk about "People pissing on other people and such."

This just confuses me..

The norm is "I am sick of all this religion and politics..."

" I just want to know where I can find someone pissing on someone else.."

How many people on the board want to hear about how another man woman or child likes to watch people urinating on others.... I am going to go with "just as many as don't like to see religious responses and political responses.

That is whay i think in all fairness complete abolishment of the lounge is the only sure way to stop all the offensive responses from one side of the board to the other..

You mean like the guy that had a thread created about him the other day called GodsDead666?

If the content of threads or responses offend you, and you think they're in breach of the MFK rules, you should report them.
see i didnt see that sig but if i did,who cares. If its something that could hurt a kids thoughts or something then fine but if it just offends me,I skip it.thats all i was asking of everyone else to do.SOme ppl that are saying thanks for this thread are ppl ive wanted to report at times but why mess with their lives because they posted something that hurt little ol me.A kid tells me that i know all being a teen is about is getting laid. How many of you reported that.Whos kids read it?What did they think. But they bashed me for something they didnt even have to read.About god.So offensive. The debate was with like 2 or 3 of us out of how many members, lol.Sorry wurm.Im just venting.Im keeping it tame enough though right?

I'm not trying to offend you, start a big argument, or question your religious beliefs, but would the amount of 'time, money, effort, love, devotion, etc..' be affected more prominently by your work ethic (time and money), recreational activities (time) and general lifestyle. Now I understand how you can think that religion does play a 'direct' part in these, but are you implying that if you weren't religious, you wouldn't treat living animals in the same manner as you currently do?

I can't see the good in that.

I've seen numerous posts in this section of the forum pertaining to the Christian god being the only god and general preaching of the bible to people that are smart enough to make up there own minds, I think this is where the problem lies, not with religion as a whole. Really though, this is a fish forum, even The Lounge, as the title says, your religion is yours, keep it that way.

holy crap, whens the last time we talked fish in the lounge? This hase nothing to do with fish.Nothing in the lounge does.I found that out the hard way because i came here because i thought we would all have a foundation built on animal life.Turns out thier are tons of animal haters on here and guess what, deep down i want them banned but i dont ask because maybe something will strike them and change their hearts.I dont care if you hate what i beleive but the same as i hate the animal haters, leave me be.Ppl on here are ok with dog fights, horse fights, feeding and watching live prey get ripped apart and it bothers me.I may say a few things and if no response,i move on.To each his own.I believe in god, dont read my stuff if you hate it as i hate those other guys.Or at least their ways.

its like me saying if you hate cats or dogs, your hate is yours, keep it that way.Cn you tell me that their isnt more fighting on here over feeding live prey, and seperatly, animal fights and such.Something that can actualy hurt something. But thats ok because you can handle that, but you cant handle this.I cant handle that, but i do.Its a free world with some rules here and there.Did you know that if you didnt read those posts then you wouldnt have got mad.See the link.

I'm not offended at all, feel free to speak between you and I, I'm not a cry baby and do so often read past the posts that I dont agree with or are in direct contradiction to my belifes.
that seid as a Christian (and you asked me to explain so thats what I'm doing not preaching by any means) I belive that all things we aquire are gifts of God and that includes work, time and money and hobbies, I pray for everything that I have and everything that I want. I dont always get what I want but I leave it in God's hands to provide accordingly. I wasnt talking about mistreating pets more along the lines of where it sits in my priority list. I know it may sound weird to you but I do pray about my fish and other hobbies.
