Your thoughts on trusting people?

Just curious what you guys think in terms of trusting people...

A - I trust people until they give me a reason to think otherwise.

OR

B - Trust must be earned and everybody is suspect.

OR

C - Trust nobody!

I have a mixture of A and B. I trust people in general up to a certain point; anything after that must be earned. I'm a bit paranoid so either way everyone will be a suspect.

I trust people for the most part except for those that just seem to be shady. Sometimes you can just tell.
