Your Views On Hybrids?

I own hybrids and pure species but I prefer pure. Although I can understand other people who prefer hybrids. I keep trying to get my fish to hybridize(no luck yet) just to see what theyll produce and it's always good to have more feeders(yes Ill use pure breds as feeders too)

I am fascinated with hybrids, but I do think that releasing them into the wild is irresponsible if they are man made. If they were produced in the wild then no one can argue with that. i personally love to see what wondrous creatures come out of mixing two beautiful or ugly creatures. i would love to make some myself, but do not long to make a breeding population and would hope that any I would make would be entirely sterile. I also do not mind keeping deformed fish also. I feel bad for them and try to make life as comfortable as possible for as long as they can survive. All fish no matter how they were produced have their own personalities and good as well as bad traits. It's up to each keeper to decide for themselves as no one ever seems to agree 100% of the time on anything. So keep what you like and don't worry about what other people are doing so long as they are not messing with wild stocks, and not interfering with what you are keeping.

I am pro hybrid, as long as when said animal is sold, its sold as what it actually is, and not said to be pure.
