Your worst mistake?

Mine was when i bearly got my tank with one african cichild.since i was new to the hobby my heater
was to high and when i came back my fish was dead.

I poorly did the plumbing on a 325. In the morning the tank was dry, luckily the concrete floor had a drain never rushed a plumbing job again. If your going to do it, take your time and do it right

Rena xp3 spray bar fitting came lose and had a trickle of water going down the back of my tank but because I had a background on the tank I couldn't see it, electricity from below came back up through the stream and electrocuted over half the tank and almost caught on fire.

Once I moved out of my moms it was hard to keep maintenance up on the tanks left behind at her house. One of the heaters snapped in half. I'm lucky it didn't start an electrical fire. And to add to it I went to do a water change and forgot about it when filling it. Flooded my moms laundry room and my old room. The pilot light went out and she had to tear up the rug because of mold. You can still smell the mold, not as bad but it's a very feint mildew smell.

i put a 1in silver gar in a tank with a 4in tiger shovelnose. the next morning he was missing and the Tiger shovelnose hat a fat stomach
