It’s hard to get an exact count, but I’ve seen at least 12 in a picture I took. I’d guess there are more, but can’t say for sure. So I came out with half or less then half from the original 30.

Yes, a few males have some nice red going on. I’m enjoying them right now, such perfect finage. Their parents... not so much. Aggression seems to have hit an all time high right now in that tank. Worse part is they don’t fight when I’m in the room so I have no idea whose to blame.
I rehomed 6 babies and still have 8 left. I moved them into the main tank with their parents.

From what I’ve read they are from Lake Kyoga and Lake Newampasa in Uganda. And other sources say Lake Victoria.
